Andrew Clarey is a Mechanical Engineer with 24 years experience. He has a Masters Degree in Advanced Technology and a Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering.

Andrew has worked on the design and development of many types of products ranging from from high vacuum systems to transit buses and has worked with machined, sheet metal and plastic components and assemblies.

He also has experience in contract / consulting projects, project management and has supervised a department of up to 10 engineers and support staff.

Andrew’s primary expertise is CAD (Computer Aided Design) and CAE (Computer Aided Engineering), specializing in solid modeling using a number of the top software packages used today.

Over the past eight years he has been been providing engineering contract and consulting services to a number of central New York manufacturers as well as clients around the US.

He teaches engineering-related courses at the State University of New York at Utica – Rome and, through BOCES (Board of Cooperative Educational Services), teaches a number of local manufacturers. Course topics include Solid Modeling, 3D Design, Industrial Math and Blueprint Reading.
